  • GPU Caustics

    Hi all

are caustics calculated when rendering on the GPU, as the Caustics tab is not available in GPU mode?
If Caustics are calculated, are they supported as a Render element?

    Cheers

The GPU supports GI caustics. By default, your reflective objects will produce caustics.
Photon Caustics, however, are not supported on the GPU - those are the ones enabled in the 'caustics' rollout. The Caustics render element is for the photon caustics, and is not supported.

Is this in Vray Next? Is the only way to get full bounce caustics in CPU mode?
