Great job on the new Bloom Effects guys, just can't seem to remove the name attached when I save an image from FBuffer "effectsResult"....where's the option to disable this?

It puts "effectsResult" at the end of every jpg file I save from the render buffer Alex.
cant seem to find an option to disable it.Comment

Here Alex, saving from the Buffer....( I gotta rename every file after saving it to send to Director, it's just an annoyance)...still images not animation.Comment

Ah, that's because the effects result is actually a render element of sorts. V-Ray will always append it to the image name, sorry.
Btw, are you doing a 'save current channel' or 'save all channels to separate files' option from the VFB?Comment

I'm saving Mode>image only....with the bloom effect obviously.(Not compositing anything)
I render several images of a movie set to send to Director and has light fixtures glow (great to just use Bloom effects and not have to do it in Photoshop)
Is there a way in the future to disable this naming convention?

Correct, it's not announced yet. It's in the nightlies, though (4.05) and in a week or two it will make it to the stable nightlies (4.04).Comment
