  • VrayEnvironmentFog - is darkened by "invisible" LightRect? (makes failures into "atmosphere")

I have a test scene, where my VrayEnvironmentFog was assigned to a Maya "VolumeCube".
The mode is "Override shape lights", so it means actually, that any other lights (which are not included in the set) were not affecting the fog.

Strangely I get shadows from square VrayLightRects, which are not included in the EnvironmentFog Set.

In the Vray LightEditor they were already set on "invisible", so that they can spend light, but weren't visible in rendering.
Only when I switch there visibilty in the outliner off, everything is fine.

Is that as expected or can I improve anything on my set up?
I was hoping, that I could use them to light something else in the set.

    Thanks...

There is a problem with the light modes which we are working on (Issue VMAYA-5659). If you need that effect right now install the first official Next build, it works fine there.

Thanks for information, no problem! I'm currently just learning the workflows and going through all possible combinations
