  • Adjust IES cone angle?

It is possible to adjust the cone angle of an IES light like with a Maya spotlight? I need a very tight spot, and it would be neat to be able to pick out an existing profile that looks neat, and just make it tighter.

I don't think this is possible. Maybe some editor for IES profiles can give you some control over this, but I'm not really sure how it would work.

it's been a while since I used IES lights, but I believe just scaling the light itself along the axis that they shine, will tighten or broaden the cone. Again, I could be wrong.

*edit* just tried it, yea it works. just scale it non-uniformly along the axis that it projects. You can scale on any of the axis as well, to stretch it's projection.
