How to light an interior day scene Maya Version?

No, I don't believe we've ever used this scene for Maya.
The youtube video has a download link in the comments and if you have 3ds Max you can download the scene from there, then export it to vrscene and use it in Maya.

Settings should match, yes. Most of the tutorials we have published are transferable between applications.
There might be something application specific here and there like a 3ds max texture or something like that, beside the coordinate system with Z up, though.

Here's a vrscene exported from max https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_5c...ew?usp=sharing
If you import it to Maya, you'll need to flip the axis for the VRayScene node (there's an option for this).
The camera and render settings from VRayScene objects are not used, so if you need the camera to match, here's a pretty close match for the translate -169.60412, 81.524641, -1060.408813 and rotate 0, 180, 0 values.
The other thing that won't match is the lighting, as a sun and sky is used in max, but the sky is an environment texture and falls into the category of settings that are not used.
So this means that to match it perfectly, you can disable the lights for the VRayScene (there's an option for this) and add all lights manually, including the sun and sky.
Lastly, you'll need to download the textures. You can grab the whole archive from our youtube video's description, get the vrscene attached here and you should be done.
The attached vrscene is made to look for the assets in the "Assets" folder, in other words, just place it one level above the Assets folder when you download the file from the link in the youtube video.
Hope that helps.

Forgot the VFB color correction settings: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1i_i...ew?usp=sharing
This is what was used for the 3ds max tutorials - you can just load it as a global preset in the VFB in Maya.
