I have few different variations of tree sharing the same materials. My general workflow with proxies is as follow:
Is there any way to avoid it or I simply approach it wrong?
- I generate a proxy from an object with "Automatically create proxies" box ticked so I got a proxy with the shaders already attached.
- I noticed saving proxy as .mb file and importing it afterward to the scene does not work and you loose all the shaders
- Instead select proxy object and COPY -> PASTE it directly to another Maya scene.
Is there any way to avoid it or I simply approach it wrong?
