Hi there,
When outputing a vray velocity aov, we have to set the "Max Velocity" attribute to avoid having too big values clamped out of the pass.
Is there any reason not to simply output the velocity aov without any clamping and letting the attribute to 1 ? The comper can then really simply color correct it's velocity channel with a simple gain.
The only reason I see is to keep exr files as light as possible, but the velocity aov should be as heavy as a typical world point , right?
Is here something I did not understand here?
Thanks!
