  • Toon line like AutoCAD

    Hi folks.
I want to render out a toon line but to make it look what you see in AutoCAD.
I can get an outline and polyline combining the Toon render element and the VRayEdges but this doesnt give me the see through obscured edges like this.

This was done using Maya Vector render but there is a resolution limit at 3200px I need to go big.
Can I do this in VRay 5 ?

    Thanks

You can try mapping a material's Opacity with a VRayEdges texture (perhaps with Show Hidden Edges enabled for extra lines).
Does that give you the look you are after?

Try setting the VRay Edges in the opacity slot of the VRayMtl. This would give you a literal see-through effect.
