  • Reflections on object not visible through glass

I have a character wearing glasses, the reflections on the eye water layer are not visible through the glasses object.
I've described the arrangement below, hopefully this helps find a solution.

Eyeball ~ vrayAlSurface - reflections visible through glass
Meniscus ( area between eyeball and skin ) - vrayMtl ~ glossy refraction + reflection - Reflections on object not visible through glass
    Glasses - VrayMtl IOR 1.05 , reflections

I've tried increasing the transparency depth wherever possible and ensuring meshes have object properties that allow reflections. I'm out of ideas

A mix of tireness and the craziness yesterday I overlooked the object had render settings set to - visible in refractions [off] despite vrayObjectProperties having it set to [on]. I had thought that vrayObjectProperties override the settings in the shape node. As they do if the shape is on, vrayObjectProperties can override it off, but not the other way it seems.

      Check everything people!

      Thanks
