How to use Random by instance ID

Is there any tutorial about how to use Vray Multi Sub Tex in "Random by instance ID" mode???

Sorry to say, the Random by Instance ID works only for alembic files containing instanced objects. See this topic for more information and workarounds. Just so you know, there is an issue logged (internal bug-tracker id: VMAYA-6070) for supporting the Maya instancer as well.
