Just a quick question. If I download the current version of Vray PLE and currently have a Vray NEXT license, can I install both of them and swap between them or does the PLE override the Vray NEXT license?

If you mean installing V-Ray PLE on the same Maya version as a commercial V-Ray - then no. This is not specific to the PLE, you generally can't have two different V-Ray versions on the same Maya.
You can install them on different Maya versions. Or use the .zip (archive) installs.
As for the license - they don't overwrite each other.
Out of curiosity, why do you need both a commercial and a PLE license at the same time? -

Thanks for the reply and good information. Still thinking about making the upgrade to Vray 5 to Vray next. Wanted to test out the new features and see if it was worth making the upgrade now or waiting.
Think I am going to stick with Next for a bit, save up and make the upgrade later in the year.. thanks again for thr reply. Much respect brother..Comment
