  • Fog Volume

    Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to render a fog volume and replicate the given conditions in the documentation and for some reason I can't seem to do it. I'm really trying hard and trying all kinds of things. What am I doing wrong? Or if there is documentation that is more granular than what is found in the documentation for Vray for Maya, that would be great too?

I'm following the examples on this page as closely as I know how.

My Vray Material opacity is set to black. This is what they mean when the say 100% opacity in the documentation, right?

Attached below are my render settings and vray environment fog settings. Please let me know if you can seem them. and please please help me. I'm really trying.

You've forgotten to attach the files it seems. Otherwise, you're trying to use a Fog Container is that correct? Simply apply a VRayMtl with black color as Opacity and a VRayEnvironmentFog as a Volume material. If you're still having troubles do reupload the scene so we can take a look.
