I know i can animate the time of day and other parameters in the v-ray sin, but I'm not getting predictable results for a time-lapse animation. I have to make a loop and my first frame has the sun at about 11am. I need to animate till sunset, and then re emerge back at the same 11am values. What is the best slider/combination of values to animate in order to make this happen ?

I just animated the "Hour value", where I adjusted the animation curve a bit so as to start and end at 11 AM. Here is a sample scene. I did not calculate the exact frames per hour, so it is not precise, but you get the idea. -

well but you can copy all info transform translate in X,Y and Z of the first frame to last frame I have a time lapse but not bucle or loop.
