last bucket render time

Hi folks.
Are there any suggestions for trying to work out why one bucket is taking 20mins to finish per frame!
It's a Nparticle effect with PhoenixShader applied.
Latest Maya latest VRay latest Phoenix.

Seem like it's to do with the "Per-Particle Attribute Export " applied to the nparticles, turning off the RGB renders in secs but now I cant seem them...
