  • Tighten the shadow when using Shadow Catcher/Material Wrapper/Object Properties

    Hi all,
Is there a way to tighten shadows when using Shadow Catcher/Material Wrapper/Object Properties?
Looking at the images below (RGB & alpha), I really only want the shadows cast by the sunglasses to be visible but the entire figure is being affected.
I have the scene lighting as I want it so cannot adjust any lights.
I've tried adjusting the shadow brightness and GI ammount. I've tried turning off Recieve Shadows on the figure.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I guess you need to remove the GI and self-shadowing to do that. Try the workaround in this thread.

you want receive shadows on the character, you don't want cast shadows on the character. THat, and turning off GI.

Thanks for the quick responses. After some more testing I've figured out that an environment fog I have in the scene was affecting the shadow catcher. Turning off Affect Shadow rays seems to help.
