  • How do I properly use shadow pass?

Hello! I have a doubt about how do i render and use the shadow pass. When I render my scene, the shadow pass render comes this way, like the image below. The shadow areas comes in white or even lightened. This shoudn´t come in black and white to use in post production? Could somebody help me?

        Hello!

Yes, I can. The thing is that the shadows was not being black when I used in composition. Initially I thought the shadow pass should be black and white, wich is not. The render is right. It was my fault. I was not thinking in the blending modes result, and how I could configure it the right way. So I changed the blending modes to Difference in Photoshop and turned down the opacity. Or, if you gonna make post in Nuke, you can use the blending mode From, and turn down the mix as well.
