DistTex on fur

Anyone tried this tutorial by Jonas Noell.

I tried to get the DistTex to work as in the tutorial but couldnt get it to work, so how does one connect it up once you have added the object to the set?

No, but my advice would be to use X Gen anyway.

It will work once the R Value from the DistanceTex node is connected to both the U & V slots of a rampTexture node.
The value from the RampTexture will then define the density value of the vrayFurProperties node.
