X-Rite Scanned Materials

Hi everyone,

I have a pretty simple question for you today.

Does V-Ray support X-Rite scanned materials at all, or at any level?

I am asking because in the company I am working for there is a discussion about using X-Rite materials.

That's good, thanks for the information.

Unfortunately the plugin seems to be quite outdated. No support for recent versions of V-Ray.

Just reach out to them. I am sure they will have a new version. It is not like the last supported version was vray 3 or maya 2019. It is only 1 version off. They are the makers of the scan so it is in their interest for them to support it in latest versions and you as a customer of their scans or scanning machine etc

Yes, that's what I have done.

I had a meeting with them yesterday, and I have pointed out the lack of updates. They took note, so , hopefully they will come up with a prompt solution.
