Hello Paul,

VRaySphereFade is not a part of V-Ray for Maya yet; we are working on adding it though.

ok, so I guess I'll have to wait until then... Vray (and VRaySphereFade, unfortunately) is the last thing that keep us working on 3dsmax, so I'll watch for an eventual update!
