  • VRay-materials for Maya

    Hey...
there is this awesome website www.vray-materials.de (everybody knows... Of course, all these materials are for Max and Vray only. Is there anything out there for Maya already? That would be so great to have these materials to implement in our scenes.. Our are there any presets which I could import?

    Thanks,
Michael (who has little hangover from yesterday's Oktoberfest...)

i emailed with the owner a little while ago and he said they were working on a new site that would have a section for maya materials so it's only a matter of time i suppose! meanwhile, bazuka's our official material god. sacrifice some candy in his honor and he'll deliver.

BTW.. if you do have Vray for max and Maya, you can theoretically open the material in max, write it out as a vray shader, and open that shader in Maya, and it will render identically.
