  • How would i add custom header information into an exr?

    Hey Guys,

is there a way to tell vray to write some more information into the exr file header? Do i need to write my own code? If yes, are there examples on how to do this for vray4maya?

Lets say for example i want to write the name of the original maya-file into the exr.

    thx in advance!
    Oliver

What kind of information would you like to add - just some text, or something else? There is no way to do this at present, but it should not be too hard to add it.

      Best regards,
      Vlado

It would be cool to have it in a way like the extraTex works....just one node that i can add multiple times to the vraySettings with the option to write string, float or vector to the exr....m44f attributes are not needed i think.

Would be nice to see this feature some time in the future!
        thx
