How we can import .mat vray materials in Maya

I've been searching vray materials for studing it. We can find a lot of them in www.vray-materials.de, specially, I feel curiosity about laquered wood (wood & varnish)...

If I'm not wronged, in max its available the option of import .mat vray material. this is a Max feature or a Vray for max feature?. Vray for Maya users are able to import this materials?.
