So what's the good word? I thought there was to be some announcements and showings-off of vrayRT for Maya. I haven't seen any vids or any posts on the subject, so I thought I'd ask close to the source

Very excited about seeing what was presented at Siggraph too! I'm sure there are a lot of us Maya users who would like to finally see Vray RT in action

Unfortunately we do not have any video materials at this point.
At SIGGRAPH there were presentations about V-Ray for Maya, V-Ray RT for Maya, Phoenix FD, some new features in V-Ray for Maya and V-Ray for 3ds Max.

We are sorry we can't provide any more information.

Of course there will be more information; Phoenix is released next week and I'm also preparing a web page with the features that we showed for V-Ray 2.0.

if my memory serves me correctly, then I think you mentioned RT for Maya would have an estimated release date in August. Is that still on track? Or beta testing first?

Boo! What do the Siggraph people have that we don't have? Other than time that is Look forward to hearing about all the stuff (Like Phoenix) too.

So Public Beta starts 16th of August (source: vray.info)
Since this screenshot is showing Vray RT in the VRay VFB, does this mean that Vray RT will only be supported in Maya 2011/10 and not 2008/9?
