Vlado maybe you can explain a bit further on how to do this with C++ / scripting?
Sending a file to the farm w/ render region on when it shouldn't be is one of the most common errors here. I really wish there was some way of controlling it externally. A mel flag, even creating a file on the network that turns off render region when present, or what about a way to always turn it off when saving a scene. Or when it's on, the Maya file bar is RED so it's very obvious. Could this be done with Python? Thanks,
Silly question, but would it ever be possible to use the framebuffer inside Maya so you could dock it as a panel? Would be very useful for V-Ray RT in Maya if you could dock the framebuffer into Maya.
