Shutter efficieny for motion blur

Hi there,

Is there a way to adjust the efficiency of the shutter to get more realistic motion blur? It looks like light is passing uniformly in time which doesn't match what happens for physical shutters as they take time to open and close.

There is some control over this with the motion blur bias, although it is not exactly the same (it just allows you to bias the blur towards the start or end of a frame).

It's subtle but can make the difference when something that has heavy motion blur looks "not quite right". Thanks Vlado.
BTW, it's great to finally be using V-Ray in production

Matching Film motion blur with Vray I have found a 180 maya camera shutter with Vray motion blur settings with a Duration of .5 and interval center at 0 matches quite well. Vlado, I think those should be the default settings. :P
