I see the AO toggle in the indirect illumination controls but I can't enable it.

how to use in-render AO?

odd... it works for me. Well, I don't use it because render times sky rocket, but I can enable it. What build are you using?
I do my ambient occlusion pass in post. I create a material override, using a vraylight material with a vraydirt material inside it. You can turn off GI and you'll need to disable your vraycamera exposure. In PhotoShop you use your AO pass on a new later and set it to multiple.

I'm not referring to the V-Ray Dirt mat RE workflow. I was under the impression that enabling the AO in the settings would do it in the rendering itself, saving compositing. No?Dave Girard | CAN-CON.ca | polygonspixelsandpaint.tumblr.com
