  • Light Select RE and GI?

I just found out from someone that the light select pass isn't going to work with GI. Is this planned? I was really hoping to use this as a Maxwell Render Multilight-style thing. As it is, I have to create render layers for every light to get this type of control for product lighting in Nuke.

This is the type of thing I want to be able to do, which is easy with Maxwell:

This is not possible with the current GI algorithms (irradiance map, light cache), as they cache the contributions from all lights. It will be possible with the bidirectional path tracer though, when it is available.
