I've noticed this new camera attribute in the recent nightlies. I understand how this works in a real camera. I was wondering what the attribute actually does in vray. I'm assuming it somehow weights the motion blur samples more to the center of the shutter interval. What is the formula (in layman's terms)?

There is some more info and a link to a PDF here: http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...ter+efficiency

So what I'm trying to figure out is what the vray numbers mean. Does shutter efficiency=0 mean a "tent" filter (to use the terminology from the pdf in your link), and =1 means a "box" filter?

1.0 is box filter; 0.5 is tent.
