Vray 4 Maya & Linux

Hi, I'm in the process of setting up a new render farm. Currently our farm consists of Mac Pro workstations running Maya 2011 but I'm looking into a dedicated farm. Mac not a great route to go down in terms of price and I'm not a big fan of Windows so looking into Linux. I've used it before but not that familiar with it so just trying to get a handle of any problems I might have to wrestle with using Linux and Maya 2011 and Vray (assuming I can get it running ok!) and whether running a mixed environment causes any known issues with render output in Vray 4 Maya.

Anyone got any good tips or things to avoid?

I know this is a fairly open ended question but I'd really appreciate any advice on offer.

this one you'll gonna satiate. At least, if you try to render form maya to the renderfarm, so, use command line & .vrscenes.
