First, I'm glad to finally hear about Vray 2.0 for Maya, and as appears for 1.5 users its possible to upgrade yet, probably, I'll try to prepare all for make the upgrade payment this next Monday.
No doubt about your product or your support (both really really valuable), but I'd like give you a "touch of attention" about Vray 2.0 for Maya documentation, that, could be surprisingly, the only think that can worry me.
Please, try this time doesn't happens like with 1.5 one, that was completed little by little (VrayFastSSS2, etc...) making Maya users need to "study" the updated 3dsMax documentation.
Seriously, perhaps for you all appears clear, but for me, Max documentation and finding equivalent menus or options in Maya, or discover particularities between the two versions (like fake glossy reflexions, etc), or miss some Maya options in the documentation is a little bit disturbing. Its really important for us, for Maya users, to have our Maya customized and updated manual for be able to extract all the juice to the new Vray 2.0. and don't waste time when we dedicate a pair of weeks to read, test and discover the new version.
Ah!, and one more thing, please, no more "this is only for advanced users". You can make a new documentation page for this cases, and leave the user choose to try to understand. When I find this kind of phrases... I don't know why, but my curiosity function calls to my anger function.
I hope you understand my point of view.
A greeting to all Chaosgroup team, and thanks for all the new features, for Maya hair rendering, for Maya fluids rendering, and for all your efforts in integrate Vray into Maya. Really really thanks for your hard work.
