  • Render Background Pass WITHOUT alpha from geometry

I'm trying to render a background pass for my scene, which is nothing more than a spherical map that is overriding the environment. When I choose background render element, I get the background, but it has alpha embedded in it of my objects. Is there a way to render without the alpha and just get a simple, clean background pass with no holes?

    Thanks!

You could use a a simple Renderlayer.
