I have a 3d product which I am rendering, the inner lid has a mirror on it. in the mirror it reflects the other side of the product . It is giving me 2 issues , 1 , the reflection of the object in the mirror surface is a different colour & 2, it is very noisy , this is because the reflected surface has a slight glossy reflection.
Uping samples doesnt seem to help either & isnt really viable as it makes render times gigantic.

    any ideas?

    thanks

    Chris

you tried turning down your dmc noise threshold? try changing from 0.01 down to 0.005

yeah. it seems , if i change the reflection type on the object being reflected into the mirror from ward to blinn & lower the ref amount it looks loads better.

Adjust reflections samples from 8 to 32 in shader.
