I have some questions about the new version:
Will be Vray for Maya 2.0 version for Linux 32, permitting us using our old workstations till reach 4 gb doing test and supporting our new 64 machines?.
Will be a "new" help/documentation option in spot3d web page at the end of April?. I mean, actually we can read in index "Vray for Maya, Version 2.0", but when we go to VrayMtl page we cannot find any kind of information about the new dispersion feature, or the function of the "Dispersion Abbe" parameter. Will users choose between Vray 1.5 or Vray 2.0, with the complete documentation of 2.0 at the end of April in spot 3d?.
Exist some scenes that we can download where we can observe, test and experiment with the new features? (Like for example, a light beam passing throught a prism, showing us dispersion?)
You've got finally working particles and fluids. Congratulations about that. But, What possibilities have we got to see Paint Effects rendering on Vray for Maya 2.0?, and blobby, cloud and tube particles?
And finally, we got interpolated refractions/reflections. Cool. Thanks for do it.
Err. I forgot it.. Exist some tool for visualizate the caustics maps?
edit and keep asking:
Its normal that caustics doesn't work on rt engine? (although caustics map would calculate itself before start rendering).
Have you think about add a "launch render" button on VFB?. And a Play/Pause and Stop (rather than push Scape key) buttons for RtEngine?.
I still have a lot for discover of new version, thanks for the new features and compatibilities
