    Hi,

    Has this been implemented into vray 2.0?
    or anyone knows a method to render an instancer with different colors per particle?

    Here's what Vlado said a while back:

    Set the particle properties (e.g. RGB PP), add the V-Ray per-particle attributes to the particle shape, turn on the RGB export; then use the Particle Sampler texture to connect the per-particle RGB color to your material.

      Support for the particleSampler texture for the instancer geometry will be implemented in Beta 3 next week.

        that's really really cool, finally a renderer that can do this (apart from renderman)

        but what I understand from GatesB's post is, that it was already working with vray 1.5?
