VFB Linux question

Do you still need to use a script to launch VFB V-Ray renders in Linux for Maya 2011 and 2009 with V-Ray 2.0 beta 3?

For Maya 2011 and 2012 you can get the VFB right inside Maya, without the need to export and render in the standalone. For Maya 2009, you will still have to do it (there is no Qt there).
