  • comparing images in VFB on OSX

    Me, again

    last question for today. I know that version 2 is supposed to have the ability in the VFB to store images and compare images. I can see the compare buttons in the top button bar but I am missing any possible function to store images in the framebuffer list. I have seen this on a demo but I cannot reproduce it here on my machine.
    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers, Ingo

    You will need to create an environment variable VRAY_VFB_HISTORY and set it to 1 before running Maya. Then you should get a "H" button in the lower toolbar of the VFB that brings up the history window.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

      thanks for the quick reply vlado. I just tested it and included the line
      Code:
      VRAY_VFB_HISTORY=1
      to my Maya.env file that has been modified by vray. But so far I cannot see the button you described. Maybe it's the wrong place to put the variable?

      Regards, Ingo
