Hello,

is "DistanceBetweenTex" similar to Max's "VRayDistanceTex" ? How does it work ?
If not, can I find something similar to "VRayDistanceTex" to have an interraction between intersecting objects ?

It's not the same thing; the DistanceBetween texture corresponds to the Maya distanceBetween node - it just gives you the distance between any two points (f.e. the shaded point and the position of some scene object).

We are currently working on porting VRayDistanceTex to Maya as well, but it's not quite complete yet.

Any news about VRayDistanceTex to Maya? I would love to see this in maya for rendertime booleans and interaction...
