  • Bake to tiled UVs

    Is there a way with V-Ray bake to output individual textures for each tiled UV on a single object? For example, if we have a creature that is a single mesh but has its UVs in 16 separate tiles, we'd love to bake the textures so that the output would have <u>_<v> or <UDIM> as part of the name.

    For the moment it is not possible; you will either have to bake the entire UV space into one file and then split it to tiles manually, or bake each tile seraparately to a different file.

    For both of these you will need a more recent version of V-Ray, because it has parameters to adjust the UV range that you want to bake.
