  • RT for Maya...

    Hello. I have two questions:
    1) Can I make "Show Statistic" work?
    2) Can I use RT as batch render?

    Thank You!

    2) Can I use RT as batch render?

in the RT render tab, u can activate the max render time!
default it is 0 min.. (it renders ever)
when u set it to .5 min or 2min or so, RT will render 30s or 2 min, then steps to next freame and so on.
I didnt test it by myself, but it heard it that this is the way.

      Hi,

1). No, you can't because the statistics are not implemented.
2). You can also use the cpu rays per pixel, I don't know if it works in batch, I know this setup works when you use V-Ray standalone

For the moment you can't use V-Ray RT as a batch renderer; you will need to go through V-Ray Standalone for this. An added bonus with the standalone is that you can use motion blur (even on the GPU) with the RT engine.

        Best regards,
