  • Object unaffected by light/GI

    Hey,
Is there a way to have an material (in my case a plane with a bitmap) be completely unaffected by the lights in the scene? A good example would be a monitor displaying a bitmap. Is this something that's better to do in comp?

I've tried using both a self-illuminating VrayMtl and vrayObjectProperties node where I've disabled GI reception/visibility, but it's not having the desired effect.

    Try a VrayLightMaterial + vrayObjetProperty

      Thanks for the tip, bigbossfr!

Yeah i actually tried that and it didn't work and just overexposed my material... However! I tried it again and turned on Compensate for Camera Exposure and it worked! It actually makes logical sense for it to overexpose it since I was using a VrayCamera.
