  • Dynamic Ocean, Wake, Foam Solution ?

    Hi,

is there any solution that works dynamic with ocean, wakes and foam simulation ?
I don't essentially speak about Maya Ocean... I mean in general ?

Any system known similar like Maya Ocean that works with Vray ... and besides Dreamscape..... ?

I think naiad is a little too heavy for most cases...try the HOT (houdini ocean toolkit) It's a maya plugin...and maybe directly supported by vray far away in the future...if anyone takes care of building a vray_plugin out of the sourcecode...

i agree with u both guys, HOT is great for doing oceans scapes with no interactions and is easy to setup, we used HOT in some projects. but Naiad cant compare to HOT.naiad interaction and realism is soo amazing but needs an extra standalone app and some experience aswell! so i think really heavily depends on what kind of job.

and oli....hope to see u soon for lets party again!

          cheers
