  • bitmap buffer and BSDF

    Hi,

I´ve these warnings since a view days. (2012, Vray 2.2 official)
And realy often the RT engine slaves crashes.

    What is the bitmap buffer?
    What is BSDF?

The scenes are original rendered with Mental Ray and I moved them to Vray.

    Something wrong in my scenes?

    Thanks

      thanks Vlado,

I will see what happens here.
Isnt there a newer stable Version of 2.2?

      Best regards,

Nope, as the only differene between the 2.1 and the 2.2 versions is that for 2.2 there is a GUI installer on Mac OS X and the .exe extensions are removed for executable files on Linux and Mac OS X. If you are on Windows, they are practically the same.

        Best regards,

No. The bug described above was specific to V-Ray RT only and happened because the render server attempted to render the scene before all the scene change commands were received.

Your bug is most probably related to the V-Ray for Maya translator, although I don't know right away what is wrong with it. If you have a scene that you can send to vlado@chaosgroup.com it will be helpful.

            Best regards,
