I got the below image from V-Ray for 3ds Max. I just connected falloff texture to Fresnel Ior Slot to get some different refraction by camera angle.
I've tried to make same effect in V-Ray for Maya, but there was no luck.
I used falloff texture in plugin texture, VRay Fresnel, and fasing ratio in Smapler Info with ramp texture in Maya.
And I've tried to export vrscene from 3ds Max and using Import V-Ray Material from file in Maya, but there was no falloff texture for Fresnel Ior Slot.
Is the effect for refraction working in V-Ray for Maya as well? I am not sure how I can get it.
Please give me an advice for that. I think I am missing something for that. It might be easy to get it in V-Ray for Maya as well.
