  • Question with transparent Alpha

I am rendering a still, plastic bottle, with affect all channels on the bottle material, as well as the cap material, which all need to have the transparent alpha.
The cap's alpha however is not transparent for some reason.

see how the cap is completely white at some parts? the main problem area I guess is the part of the cap behind the bottle. That one part will need to be corrected if I am to deliver this render.
Any idea how to fix this? My max transparency levels are at 50, global max depth at 30, affect all channels for both, the cap's refraction glossiness is at .9

    Cheers guys

The reflection is playing a big part on it, as well as the refraction color. So I guess the reflection "overrides" the alpha

The reflections take away from the refraction strength, so if the cap is also very reflective, then its transparency is reduced which leads to the solid alpha.
