Has anyone come up with a good way to fake surface luminance in vray? Like if I want to create a 2 tone toon shader based on where the light is coming from? (since surface luminance isn't supported)
I tried using a ramp shader and setting it to light angle, but it still gets shaded by the light...I wonder if there is a way to make it act like a surface shader. I tried plugging my ramp into incandesence, but that attribute is driven by facing ratio and not light angle...
