Maya - V-Ray Distance Texture?

Hello, Does any know if Vray for maya has the Distance texture included?

No, it doesn't have it yet - it is on the "to do" list.

how about now? is it there now? I just saw this being used in Max and could have really used it in maya this week....easy ski tracks.

Holy Cats! You're right. I'm moving the 'create from vray plugin' button to a large, red button floating over the maya interface, so I don't forget it. To many treasures to miss.

There is no need to create it from the V-Ray plugins menu; it's available as a Utility shader in the Maya hypershade.
