Can anybody identify why the bottom of my bottle renders like this?

The bottle is about 11 in tall, I don't think this looks realistic, the IOR is at (1.45), there is no liquid inside the bottle yet.
It looks too thick, but when I modeled it, i selected all faces and extruded them so thickness is pretty even throughout.

did you check if your normals are reversed?

Exactly what was wrong, when extruded the outside faces were facing inward and vice versa. Now I actually want to make the bottle thicker at the bottom.
