  • VRayFastSSS2 : geometry based sampling.

    Hi,
    I have a question : do you have some recommendation to use or not use the geometry based sampling of the VRayFastSSS2 ?
    Not problem with animation ?

    It looks like the render time it a lot better with this, but i don't know what is the side effect ?

    Edit : the render time is not better, and it is not multi threaded.

    It is still in development; I would not recommend using it right now for exactly the reasons that you found out It does have the nice property that it doesn't flicker and it renders the same regardless of the distance to the object.
