  • Time dependent with animation

Is it necessary to turn on "Time Dependent" when rendering character animation?

I read that the sampling pattern changes with time, but under what circumstances would you use this feature?

    Thanks for your help.

The changing pattern usually looks better in animation than a static one.

In maya it must be on for anims otherwise it will look like dirt over lens if the noise is static. In 3ds max it myst be off to grt the same effect
