I have a object with a blend material applied , in the blend material I have a base brushed metal tex ( standard vray shader ) & layer 1 is a different material ( also standard Vray Mat) I then have a black white texture driving my blend amount. I want a multimatte id of the 2 different textures , so i have added a material id to each of the vray shaders in the blend & I wasnt sure if it would work & it doesnt. I can easily set it up as a render layer, but is there a way to get it out of the main render layer via render elements?
